Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop Graduation Party

Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop Graduation Party.  I recently styled this beautiful and intimate blush and gold graduation party.  Since it was a small affair, I kept the food very simple, offering only berries, cupcakes, small candies, wine, champagne, and Onli soda.  Everything was store bought, and incredibly easy to put together! 

The backdrop is a shower curtain I picked up at JC Penney’s years ago, and gold 16″ 2015 balloons from Paper Crush. The table was a made with wooden saw horses and planks of lumber.  To add a little glam to the table, I used blush and gold colored tassels from Always Lou Designs.  The gift station and Guest Book signing was on an old ladder I pulled from the trash, much to my husbands chagrin. 

On the table, I used a gold foil print in a frame from my living room.  The print is from Always Lou Designs too, and says “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop”.  I love this so much because, even though you graduate, you cannot stop pushing yourself! Your learning is no where near finished because you graduated…I placed store bought cupcakes in muted gold toned cupcake liners, and displayed them on my cake plate.  I also had various bottles of wine and champagne, candies in Class of 2015 wrappers, a bowl of berries, and Onli sodas in various shades of pink.  I found a fun hobnail style glass jar in the Target Dollar Spot and put fun pink straws in it.  

I found pink and gold bunting at Target and gently draped it around the ladder to soften the look some, while providing a little pop of color.  I added a rustic, muslin lined metal basket  from Pick Your Plum to the ladder to hold small gifts and cards for the graduate, and I placed the Guestbook on another step.  Guestbooks are a fabulous addition to any gathering or celebration too!  I LOVE the idea of having one for family reunions or a vacation house too. They have a huge variety of options available.

I had a fabulous time styling this party on a small budget for a few guests in a short amount of time!
