Back to School Party for Teachers
Back to School Party for Teachers. So many of my friends are teachers, and I know that back to school time can be a difficult time for them. They have to redecorate classrooms, sometimes to match an ever changing school theme, other times to change it up a little for themselves, and then there are times they have to redecorate an entirely new room. Classroom decorating is expensive, both in time and money! So, I thought I would host a small back to school party for my teacher friends with all the Cricut and Xyron supplies I could gather. My friends joined me for a day of learning how to use their Cricut machines (or mine) and creating fun projects for their classrooms and themselves.
I hosted the party at our office, and set up my studio with several Cricut machines, an EasyPress, Cricut tools, Xyron Creative Stations, and SO.MUCH.PAPER! My studio was lined with work tables, and my office area was set up with laptops and iPads for my friends to create with. There were learning and crafting areas in the studio, I made fun felt signs with my Cricut and hung them on the walls above each area.
Since you can’t have a party without food, I filled my chana cabinet with easy to grab and go snacks. A small table was the perfect place to put drinks and my monogrammed cooler.
My friends stayed for hours learning how to use their cricut for their classrooms, and then took home goodie boxes of Cricut papers, vinyl, and tools so they could continue to create after the party!
This was a fun twist on a traditional back to school party, and I think I may host another one again soon!
