School starts this week for my youngest two kids. We are down to the last two in school, and they are both in high school now. So, I probably won’t get cute pictures of them holding a first day of school sign. But, you know I am going to try!
Back to School Printables
We have a few family traditions, and back to school pictures in front of our door on the first day of school is one of them! They begrudgingly humor me for these photos (and Christmas Eve photos).
Last year we missed out on their first day of school pictures…and it turned out being my second son’s final year in high school. But, I did share this sweet First Day of School Sign.
Since I don’t think my high schoolers will hold this year’s back to school sign, I have already printed up and assembled some of these pennant style first day of school printables for them to hold.
First Day of School Sign
I created this cute little sign with my niece in mind. And, I wanted her to be able to write her own name and the year on the printable. I love, love, love looking back at the boys’ elementary school papers and seeing their handwriting. And, I really wanted to share a printable that would allow little ones to be a part of making their back to school sign.
