School was supposed to start for my kids today…and while I am SO ready for some sort of routine again, I am not ready to fight with them about distance learning. But, no matter what school looks like for you this year, it’s important to snap a pic on the first day of school! So, I made this fun fill in the blank first day of school sign.
1st Day of School Sign
I really love taking special pics of my guys on the first day of school. But, when they were younger it was harder to know what grade they were going into, so I started making them hold signs.
Last year, I shared these fun Pennant Style First Day of School Printables, and they are one of my very favorite printables EVER! I just love the vintage style. And, I also REALLY love the First Day of School Banner I made a few years back. It’s perfect for classroom doors and homeschool learning spaces well beyond the first day.

My boys did not want to humor me for this year’s back to school sign. Thankfully, my sweet friend, Laura’s Little Party was able to snap a quick pic of her handsome son holding the fun new sign! Isn’t he adorable?
