It’s nearly Hanukkah, which is hard for me to believe (and Hanukkah is late this year)! Truly, this year has gone by so very quickly! I have been working on holiday printables and projects for months, and if I am being honest, I am glad to see a finish line in sight. But, hands down, one my favorite projects I have made this season is this Free Dreidel SVG File.
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Hanukkah
The dreidel game is one of the most iconic elements of Hanukkah. In fact, I even made a Hanukkah Dreidel Game Board a few years ago.
My family isn’t Jewish, but we all love to play the dreidel game.
Hanukkah Decorations
Since I want my children to be accepting and aware of other religious beliefs, I have several Hanukkah decorations around my home and our office. My favorite this year is the DIY dreidel I made.
I was able to design a dreidel SVG file with the help of my friend Jen from 100 Directions. She is truly a wealth of information. I wanted the dreidel to be a diy gift box.
It’s perfect for filling with gelt, or other small treats.
Make this Dreidel Craft
I created this SVG file to use with a Cricut cutting machine. Since I can’t add score lines to an SVG file, I created the score lines as Design Space Project, you can find it here. Simply open the project, and upload the SVG file. Then, bring the score lines to the front, and line them up. Finally, click attach and send the file to cut.
Once the dreidel is cut, use adhesive to assemble the base. Then, fill with goodies, and use more adhesive to secure the top.
You can find the Dreidel SVG in the shop, here. Use the code GELT to download it FREE!
