Welcome Spring
This project post is a part of a paid marketing campaign with Snap. Although this post is sponsored the project idea and all opinions expressed are my own.
I made this adorable Welcome Spring mini pallet art using products from the Amy Tangerine Line, free paint stir sticks, and glue!
I was lucky enough to be chosen to review some wonderful new products from the Amy Tangerine line! I received a box full of Amy Tangerine Plus One goodies that will be available for purchase on HSN March 24th. This collection was released in the Winter of 2013 and sold out in most retail outlets. At just under $20 these bundles include a basic kit, an embroidery kit, an embellishment kit and a stamping kit! There are 5(!) discounted bundles available, as well as the SOLD OUT Plus One Project Life Mini Kit at a discounted rate.
My kit was full of washi tape rolls, mini clothespins, paper, and so much more! The colors screamed SPRING to me, so I made 4 different Spring time crafts and I couldn’t choose a favorite if I tried. I will be sharing my projects everyday this week.
The first project I made was a Hello Spring mini pallet art sign. I went to one of my favorite home stores and asked for 5-6 large paint stir sticks (the 5 gallon bucket size) I cut the paint sticks to the length of the scrapbook paper I chose, and then I cut the paper to the width of the paint sticks. I used Elmer’s School glue and a paint brush to adhere the paper to the paint sticks.
After the glue was completely dry, I hot glued the excess paint stick pieces to the backs of the covered sticks to create the pallet look.
Once that was done, it was time to decorate! I used some of the twine I was sent and braided it, and added small pennants to it to create a mini bunting. I used some of the lettering styles I was sent to add the Hello SPRING to the bottom of the pallet art. Finally, I embellished it with a paper rosette, washi tape, and a decorative button. I so love the way this little project turned out, and I have it in my entryway already!
