Valentine’s Day Sprinkle Some Love
For the newest issue of Everyday Party Magazine, I hosted a Valentine’s Day Sprinkle Some Love Party. I have 4 boys and the typical pink and red hearts just don’t excite them. When I saw my party pal’s Pinterest board full of sprinkles, I KNEW I had to host a Sprinkle Some Love party for my guys!
I wanted to keep the party fun and colorful, but easy to put together too! We poured Sixlets from SweetWorks into my Ball Canning Jars and lined a bookshelf with various colored candies. We dipped strawberries in white chocolate and sprinkles from Nuts.com and I put them on a cake plate in the center of the bookshelf. On the lower shelf, I put grocery store cupcakes with added sprinkles, cookies with sprinkles, and the kids favor boxes. I made homemade marshmallows and covered them with sprinkles and placed them on the boys table. For a little extra fun, I rimmed their plastic mason jar cups and paper plates with sprinkles. I used a food paint brush and light corn syrup to stick the sprinkles on.
My boys loved this party, and I am just so happy with the end result! Please check out the Spring 2014 issue of EPM for more party inspiration.
I created a FREE printable Sprinkle Some Love printable for you too!
