Spring Moments. This “winter” Florida never really saw too many cool days, let alone cold days. So, needless to say, I am totally ready to decorate for Spring, and enjoy the fresh flowers, colors, and crisp air! One of my favorite areas to decorate in my house is the entryway. We have a nice table and a blank wall screaming to be decorated for each season. I always keep seasonal candies on the table for our guests to grab as they leave, or for me to toss in my purse before I run errands. My neighbors even know to come over if their sweet tooth is acting up. {LOL} On a recent trip to Sam’s Club (we go weekly, at least) I saw their Easter candy display, and grabbed a couple of big bags of the MARS Spring Mix. The bags have all of our favorite candies, M&M’S®, TWIX®, SNICKERS®, MILKY WAY®, and 3 MUSKETEERS ® in festive pastel and chic gold wrappers. There is more than enough candy to fill the candy jars, and stash away for Easter baskets. Be sure to shop at Sam’s Club early and stock up this spring for all of the mini moments. The first thing I like to do when I decorate for any season is start with a blank canvas. Then, I decide on a backdrop, just like I would for a party table. This year I wanted to re-use my pale colored rosettes as the backdrop (I recently used them at my Be Brave paint night party). Six of them are staggered across the wall above the table. I really didn’t want to use vivid colors for this table, so I tried to style everything with white, clear glass, or pale colors. The table is solid white, and I opted not to add a table cloth or runner. I used a variety of cake plates to add visual interest to the table. I added faux moss rocks, potted topiaries, cream colored plastic eggs, and white porcelain rabbits and a duck to the table. A sweet wood and glass cloche was the perfect place to hide a fake bird’s nest and eggs. I used a hobnail glass as a vase for fresh pink tulips, and filled glass vessels with some of the MARS Spring Mix candies. For fun, I filled the plastic eggs with some of the candies too!
A large burlap bunny is the focal point of the table, but, I wanted to have him offset, rather than in the middle of the table. He looked too cute on an ornate beaded cake plate next to a glass jar full of TWIX®, SNICKERS®, MILKY WAY®, and 3 MUSKETEERS ®. A topiary complimented the bunny nicely. And a few little eggs were placed next to the bunny too!
Inexpensive metal buckets were painted white, and embellished with die cut magnetic flowers. One was filled with faux grass, an egg, and some SNICKERS® candies. The other had moss covered rocks, and a few candy filled eggs in it.
I used a lot of decor on a small table, but I kept the color pallet simple, and the styles are similar. It’s a little busy, but I love the look, and smile each time I walk in the front door, and it’s not just because there is delicious MARS candies waiting for me!

I love the idea of having little treats out. When I was younger my best friend’s parents always had festive M&M’S® out all year. #client
