Holy Communion Celebration and Thank You Notes. We recently celebrated two of my sons’ first holy communion. We hosted a small brunch and dessert celebration after church with friends and family. My boys are so lucky to have such an extensive support group with our family and friends. With that support group came many generous and thoughtful gifts. Admittedly, I am terrible about writing thank you notes. It’s not that my mom didn’t try, I’m just terrible. However, when I ordered the invitations, napkins, stickers, and acrylic blocks from Tiny Prints, I also ordered some simple blank thank you notes.
Thank you notes don’t need to be long or difficult. My boys were able to write all of their notes in just a few minutes.
There are four parts to a good thank you note. A personal intro, a thank you for the specific gift, a quick little sentence or two about what you will do with the gift/gift card/or money, and a closing. It’s super easy, and with a little guidance, the kiddos can get it done quickly!
I love that the boys thank you notes matched their invitations and party so perfectly! I actually customized a graduation printable set and made it into a sophisticated and sleek Holy Communion printable set.
