I recently shared this Round Up of 10 Simple Halloween Crafts for Kids with Creative Juice‘s readers, but I wanted to share it all with you as well! If you aren’t subscribed to Mindy’s blog, I highly suggest you hop over and follow her. (PS Her table was shared on Blofete’s blog page yesterday too!)
Hi, I’m Jessica from Everyday Party Magazine. I’m a mom of four little boys, I publish Everyday Party Magazine, help my husband run his business, style parties, and try to be the mommy my guys want me to be.
My boys love Halloween, they also love to create things. With the help of my third son, I have created a list of must make simple Halloween crafts on a budget.
My family loves Halloween, some years we decorate with a rustic theme, while other years we decorate with a more creepy theme. The kids love playing outside in the slightly less humid Florida air, dinners can be more leisurely, and there is time for crafting before bed. My eight year old and I looked for our top 10 MUST create Halloween crafts to share with you.
I think every child enjoys playing with play dough, but it’s so much more fun to MAKE the dough! Your little ones can make adorable salt dough ghosts with very little help from Mom or Dad and the ghosts will last for years to come.
My son truly loves to make jewelry, he hoards beads, and I believe he has more pipe cleaner than I do. His eyes lit up when he saw these adorable Pony Bead and Pipe Cleaner Pumpkins.
I love an art project that I can use in the house for more than one holiday season. These beautiful glittered pumpkins are perfect for Halloween and Thanksgiving decor!
These little Jar-O-Lanterns are great for any age and can be made with plastic or glass jars. (If you use plastic jars, be sure to use a battery operated candle for safety).
I have to admit, my eyes lit up when I saw this!! We always have a stash of Model Magic on hand for the kids to create with, but I think I will make myself one of these awesome bone pens.
I love the simplicity of these treat bags, and I really love when my kids help with their celebration!
These little glue ghost necklaces are so fun and easy to make! These would be an excellent activity for a Halloween Party with younger guests.
I have never really been able to make paper doll garland, but I might be able to make these cute little paper ghost garland strands. The tutorial even includes a downloadable template!
My older two sons are famous for “borrowing” my duct tape, so I may leave the DIY for these Duct Tape Halloween Treat Bags in my tape drawer. Maybe they will make a few for their classmates.
Words cannot even describe how much I LOVE this Balloon Spider Web! I am so excited to make some with the boys soon.
I hope you and your little ones enjoy making some of the crafts, I know we are looking forward to it! For more DIY’s, recipes, and party ideas, follow me here, on Instagram, or on Twitter.
