Veteran’s Day

Today is veteran’s day….I am thinking about holiday shopping, baking, Christmas lists, family time, my husband’s new business…so many things on a pretty normal Monday morning. Except, it’s not a normal Monday morning, it’s Veteran’s Day. I am big supporter of all branches of the military. I, like many others, had grandparents in WWII. I was enlisted in the ARMY, but due to a serious accident, I was disqualified without ever serving a day. I support Operation Shower in any way that I can. My words of thanks to the fine men and women in uniform will never be enough!

I have had the honor and pleasure to attend two Operation Shower showers and each time, I was blessed to meet some of the most selfless families who humbly thanked me for my time. THEY THANKED ME??! Truly, I set up a few tables and made a few things look pretty, I handed out gifts that were donated by wonderful companies that also support our military families…I did nothing, these families sacrifice so much.
