Simple Easter Treat

Simple Easter Treat. My son asked me (last night) if he could take in treats for his classmates for Easter. Last night! I am swamped with deadlines and jobs to be done before I head out of town next week for a conference, but, my little one is soon not going to be so little, and the idea of bringing in class treats will cause him to change many shades of red and nearly die from embarrassment, so I made two dozen little treats. Thankfully, I had most of the supplies at home already, I just needed to pick up some plastic eggs.
I was sent a sleeve of cupcake liners from Hoopla Events, so I grabbed those and got to work. I spent a few minutes creating a sweet little printable tag and handle for the cupcake liners, and printed and cut them out. (Look for the free printable below) Then, I used my Xyron tape runner to attach the little handles to the liners, and filled them with yellow paper shreds. I used a paper punch to make the tags, and tied them to the handles with a little baker’s twine. Now they were ready for the treats! 
I added a Chocolate Caramel Cream to little plastic eggs, and then some peanut free gummi candies from Oriental Trading Company to the cups.
I was a little concerned with how I would be able to carry them all into the school, but, they fit into my vintage style Coca Cola Crate perfectly!
