Printable Color Flash Cards

When my boys were younger, we would buy them flash cards and activity books to help keep interested in learning during the Summer months. The summer slump is a real problem for kids, and I didn’t want the boys to struggle when school started again each fall. These fun ocean life printable color flash cards would have been the perfect addition to their summer learning baskets when they were younger.

Activity Sheets

Free printables weren’t as easy to find when my boys were younger. So, I would buy activity books for them. Until I learned how to create my own activity sheets!

I would always pack a bag of quiet activities for the boys when we traveled or went to the doctors’ offices.

Printable Color Flash Cards

My mom and sister are pre-school teachers at a small private school locally, and they mentioned that some of their little ones were struggling with color and letter recognition. Most of them knew their numbers, thanks to iPad screen locks and passwords. So, I thought I would create these beautiful sea life printable color flash cards for them to use with their little ones.

We printed them on card stock and then laminated them for my mom’s and sister’s classrooms. And, then I printed them larger so they could be hung in the classrooms too. They would be cute in a nursery too!
