Thanksgiving Leftover Printable
Every year, after the Thanksgiving dinner has been eaten and enjoyed, I pack up leftovers for all of our guests. From turkey, to potatoes, and even slices of pie, everything gets packed up and sent home with our friends and family. Last year we packaged everything in affordable foil containers from the Dollar Tree and topped them with labels from Three Little Monkeys Studio. This year, I created my own Thanksgiving Leftover labels. I made three sizes, small tags, and medium and large labels. I added a fun quote from Oscar Wilde, “After a good dinner, one can forgive anybody, even one’s own relations…” I think it’s perfect for family gatherings.
I have the leftover table set up on our wine cabinet, and our guests can take what they would like home. The table has slice pie boxes that I made with corrugated cardboard paper (I used this free template) and small cello bags with tags already on ribbon to tie the bags. Small Rubbermaid containers are perfect for veggies, potatoes or gravy, and they look so great in small chipboard boxes with a medium label stuck on top. For larger leftovers, I have the foil containers from the Dollar Tree again, and the lids all have the larger label stuck on top. I have Foodadz in a box I made. I even tied a few packages of Foodadz together with ribbon and a tag to make grabbing and going that much more simple. If you are not familiar with Foodadz, you NEED them! High quality plastic service ware, wrapped in a nice paper napkin with a fortune cookie type of paper with two Ha-Hahas and Ah-hahs on each. (My boys LOVE these) Each Foodadz set is placed in a simply elegant sealed bag. I cannot speak highly enough of them…they are beautiful and affordable, and we will not run out of silverware this Thanksgiving! (Be sure to check back soon to see how our family used the Foodadz Picnic Packs) Since we always have a lot of leftovers for our family, I decided to purchase some reusable bags to take the leftovers home in. Our local grocery store has the cutest Pilgrim salt and pepper shakers, and they recently added a matching grocery bag to the product line. And for just $1, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use the bags as Thanksgiving leftover take home bags!
