My niece recently saw a shirt with a puffy graphic on the back and asked me if I could make her a Halloween shirt with puffy vinyl. I have never used any puffy HTV before, but, of course I said yes! And, I can honestly say this Simple DIY Halloween Shirt turned out perfect and it was so easy to make! I am actually looking forward to making more shirts with this fun HTV!
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Halloween Shirts
Most of the Halloween shirts I have made over the years have been ones I made using my own SVG cut files. This one is a design in Cricut Design Space. But you could easily make a similar shirt with a pumpkin SVG.
One of my favorite Halloween movies is Practical Magic. So, this Midnight Margarita Halloween SVG File shirt is worn on repeat from September 1st through Halloween!
I also love these SVG Saturday Week 44 – Toddler Halloween SVG Files for the little ones. My boys used to get new shirts for every holiday.
Simple DIY Halloween Shirt
Everything in my life needs to be so ridiculously simple right now, or it just won’t get done. I recently re-enrolled in college to pursue another career…and it has been a VERY long time since I have been in school. Soooo, this request project from my niece needed to be easy and quick.
Thankfully, I only needed to order the puffy HTV, and I was able to order it from Amazon. But, if you need more than just the HTV, click the links below to order.
Begin by opening the project link above and sizing it to fit your shirt. Then, send the image to be cut. I used two colors to create this shirt.
This HTV is cut like standard HTV, on the Glitter HTV setting. Once it is cut, weed the excess vinyl and prepare your shirt for pressing. You can see where I folded the shirt in half and pressed it to make sure my image was centered on the shirt.
I followed the directions that came with the HTV and I am very happy with the end results.
This cute little pumpkin Halloween shirt took about 10 minutes to make and I love it so much!
