Fifteen Minute Halloween Decor
Fifteen Minute Halloween Decor. Halloween is this month, and while I SUPER love the holiday, I am not even a little bit ready to dig through the storage totes in the garage. Florida has been suffering with record high temperatures, and I am not made for that kind of grossness. In lieu of sweating to death in the garage, I decided to make a lot of my decorations..inside, in the AC.
My favorite so far have been the wooden blocks! They are so easy to customize, and they look totally adorable. I saw a similar dancing witch statue at the store, and I loved it so much, I had to make my own version!
For this 15 Minute Halloween Project, you will need:
Cricut Design Space Access and this cut file
Vinyl and Transfer Tape
Wood Block cut to 9″x5.5″ {Or whatever size fits your style}
Prepare the wood block by painting it with a light coat of white paint.
While the paint dries, cut the Dancing Witches from vinyl. I used permanent, but only because it was easily accessible. {I am super lazy right now} Weed the witches from the vinyl and use for another project or throw them out. You are using the vinyl as a stencil, and you don’t need the actual witch for this project.
Place the vinyl on the block as a stencil, and fill in the weeded vinyl with black paint. Allow it to dry slightly, and then remove the vinyl.
Touch up any areas that may need a little more paint, and decorate your house!
