Under the Sea
I love shared birthday parties for siblings. I understand it can be difficult sometimes, but, it was a lifesaver for me when my boys were younger! This gorgeous Under the Sea Party by A Special Touch Events is a perfect shared birthday party theme!
From Kelli:
This party was done for my cake pop lady’s two little girls. Their birthdays are close to each other’s so why not do a shared party. It was hard for their mother to pick a theme that both girls would agree with, but, Under The Sea was something we could ALL agree on!
Décor:
The décor consisted of white linen table cloths from LinenTablecloth.com, silver chargers, glass platters, and sand, shells and rocks inside cylinders from Hobby Lobby. I loved how they looked together on the table. The paper plates, napkins, plastic ware and taller glass cylinder were from Target. I added fish to the cylinder vases to add something visual to look at for the kids. The fish were from PetSmart.
Sweet Table and Drink Station:
The Sweet Table was beautiful and reminded me of the sea…There was a flowing tutu skirt around the 6ft table was made by A Special Touch Event Planning that helped set the tone. The large round bubble fish bowls were purchased at my other favorite place, Michael’s, I filled them with sand and shells. The bowls had a thick square piece of glass , from Hobby Lobby, placed on top. The glass held a Beautiful Mint Green Sea Cake with accents of purple and sea shells around the top of it with both girls’ names on it. The cake was made by Danie over at Danie Cakes. She also made the cupcakes. There was also some very, very delicious mint colored vanilla flavored Macarons that were made by Rochelle Perezchica from Crème de le Crème Cakes. We also had some tasty cookies shaped like shells, start fish, and fish with royal icing in lavender and mint. These were made by Custom Created Cakes by Brandi. Last but not least, mint colored white chocolate dipped marshmallow on a stick, Rice Krispy Treats drizzled with mint and purple colored chocolate and Chocolate Covered Oreos which were a hit, made by Ronya Saad of Ronya’s Cake Pop and Sweet Treats. The big shells that held each Birthday Girl’s name were purchased at Hobby Lobby, and the colorful beads are from Party City. The names were created with a die cutting machine. The silver sequin backdrop was purchased at Backdrop Express.
The Drink Table:
The drink table consisted of a drink of the blue sea sign and jars of Blue Hawaiian Punch. It also had a mint green and white banner on the table with the word “drink” placed on it made with a die cutting machine. We also had Under the Sea water bottle label made A Special Touch Event Planning. Disposable cups with lids and mint straws were also used at the party.
Favors:
The favor paper sand buckets were made by A Special Touch Event Planning by using a die cutting machine. They looked awesome when finished. The children also decorated a treasure chest as their take home fun project.

This party was styled and planned by Kelli Hawkins from A Special Touch Event Planning. This party was done for my friend Ronya Saad’s daughter’s Nawl and Anesa. I loved the way it came out and the picture they took together at the end of the party.
