Spring Vintage Inspired Baby Shower
Spring Vintage Inspired Baby Shower by Natalie Creates. I was recently “introduced” to Natalie Creates and her awesome work…she shares a diverse mixture of topics, from parties to gardening, and even tutorials. I am thrilled to share her Spring Vintage Inspired Baby Shower for her dear friend Wendy on the blog today!
When we heard the news that our dear friend & mama of two boys, Wendy, was having a girl, we all squealed in delight & quickly began planning a the girliest baby shower for her! We were inspired by the bright & cheerful pastel colors of Spring!
I collected vintage goods from around my home & combined them with beautiful potted Ranunculus plants wrapped in simple brown paper to create the perfect little garden party for Wendy & her baby girl on the way!
I layered peach, white & gold linens on my table for added texture. I placed clear jars full of pretty candies among the potted flowers. I added small bud vases with simple spring flowers for a pop of color along with a sweet photo of Wendy’s family.
When guests arrived, they were greeted with an array of healthy snack foods along with a table brimming with pretty flowers & lit candles. We sipped on drinks, shared food, chatted & showered Wendy with handmade gifts on the back patio.
It was the perfect Spring afternoon for a garden party to celebrate sweet Wendy & her bundle of joy on the way!
