Hello Kitty Pool Party. I recently shared a post on Safe Summer activities, and since I shared safe Summer tips and rules, I am sharing a Summer Pool Party now. Australian Gold recently shared some of their fun new sunscreen and after sun care products from their Hello Kitty line with me. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, we will use all of the products again. (Even if I do have boys) The sunscreen smells so good, but more importantly is a very good sunscreen, that doesn’t feel greasy. (Or give me hives like so many sunscreens do) I also got to try out their after sun spray…just WOW, the kids LOVED it! Cooling, and again, not greasy, and refreshing.
Of course, I couldn’t have kids over to play in the pool with out having a party. I set up a fun dessert and favor table in the corner of our yard near the garden for my niece, and all of her cousins to get their sunscreen on, and grab snacks before they played in the pool.
I was able to work with so many talented ladies to help make this party a success! The table was small, but full of fun and yummy treats! Painting Paris Pink sent me the most adorable printables to match the party theme. I layered a pink and white beach towel over a pink and purple polka dotted sheet. Then I strung the printable banner on yellow paper twine from Pick Your Plum. I also cut a pool noodle and hung it like banner on the front of the table. The backdrop was a simple pink sheet with a beach ball swag. (Big thanks to Fizzy Party for sending me her leftover beach balls) I used tags from Painting Paris Pink on pink cups of popcorn, and thank you tags were tied to the beach buckets full of Hello Kitty goodies!
Bella’s Bakery and Bowtique sent the most AMAZING Hello Kitty Chocolate Covered Oreos and Chocolate Pretzels. Seriously, cookie makers are truly gifted artists! I picked up a Hello Kitty Ice Cream Cake from Walmart. I made fruit skewers, and had popcorn in small pink cups. I was able to find a lot of fun candies and treats in Hello Kitty packaging and colors, so I served those in bright colored plastic flower bowls my mom got me for Easter. I served pink juice in a clear glass dispenser. I added a vinyl Hello Kitty cut out to the dispenser too. A Special Touch Event Planning sent the cutest little bow cups for the kiddos to drink out of.
The girls took home cute Hello Kitty Sand Bucket Favors. I took a simple pink sand bucket from the Target Dollar Spot and added white vinyl Hello Kitty to them (like I did for the drink dispenser). I filled them with inexpensive Hello Kitty favors and snacks from Part City, Target, and Rocket Fizz.
This was such a fun way to kick off summer fun!
