When Stef was putting her sons’ dinosaur birthday party together, I was helping my sister with favors for my nephew’s reptile birthday party. I made some fun printable stickers for my nephew’s party as well as some for Stef’s boys’ party. Now, I am sharing those free reptile party printables with YOU! You may have seen them in the Fall 2014 issue of EPM. There are three options, Caution live reptile eggs, Caution live dinosaur eggs, and Dino toes.
I printed them on standard copy paper from my home printer and cut them out with scissors, though I think they could be adapted to be cut with an electronic cutter too. After I cut out the “stickers” I ran them through my Xyron Sticker maker (Do you have one yet? You really NEED one, I promise you will use it all the time!) Once they were sticky, I stuck them to the outside of a wooden berry box from Bloom Designs Online. I filled the berry boxes with shredded crinkle craft paper, candy rocks from Candy Warehouse, gum balls from SweetWorks and Easter eggs with small grow reptiles from the Dollar Tree. I also added a few Dollar Tree Glow in the dark snakes and glow sticks to the boxes. Can you believe this is the only picture I can find from my nephew’s party? There were truly live animals at the party and there are FAR more pics of that fun than the favor boxes!
Stefani prepped her boxes (also from Bloom Designs Online) the same way, but she added dinosaur candies from Candy Warehouse.
Finally, Stefani cut out the dinosaur toes stickers and stuck them on small plastic drink cups filled with Bugles chips! How fun, right?
