Lake Life SVG Files

I dream of owning a little cabin on a lake one day. I just don’t want it to be a Florida lake, somewhere in New England…maybe even Maine Cabin Masters style. However, until that dream comes to life, I will have to satisfy myself with lake house signs and decor. And, thankfully I can make a lot of that myself with these FREE Lake Life SVG Files!

Nautical Cut Files

Since I live a short drive to the Gulf Coast beaches, I have PLENTY of nautical themed cut files and DIY posts. From this Custom Can Koozie DIY to this DIY Beach Bag post, there is a cute beach themed cut file for nearly everyone.

But, I don’t have a lot of lake themed cut files, so I was pretty excited to make this one.

Blank Sign
Paint and Paint Brush

I like to use a blank sign or make one with scrap lumber. Then, I paint a light coat of paint onto the sign, and paint or stain the trim. After the paint has dried completely, I cut my HTV and press it on to the sign like I would a shirt, hat, or bag. I have signs I made over five years ago that look just as good as they did the day I made them. And, I don’t have to worry about a stencil bleeding through, or my painting skills being a little subpar.
