When the boys were younger, we loved to make reindeer food together. And, I loved to make it with my little ones when I was a teacher. This year, since we have decided not to spend time with our friends and extended family, I thought it would be fun to make some printable reindeer food tags and drop off the supplies to make food for Santa’s helpers at our friends’ houses.
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Christmas Traditions
My boys are all teenagers and young adults now, but there are some traditions that we will never let go. And, leaving milk and cookies for Santa and treats for the reindeer is one we will do every year!
One year we even made it at my niece’s Winter Wonderland Party!
Make Reindeer Food
Reindeer food is really easy to make, and can be made with just about any food that is reindeer safe. (Amazon Links) Typically, we use oatmeal, craisins, bird seed, and some cookie sugar for a little sparkle.
Let the little ones mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl and then scoop into bags.
Then, tie the bags closed with a little ribbon and add one of the printable reindeer food tags.
Printable Reindeer Food Tags
I am going to buy some small reusable holiday plastic containers and add small bags of oatmeal, craisins, bird seed, and cookie sugar with ribbon and the printable tags. Then, we will drop them off at some of our friends’ homes this week!
You can find the tags in the shop here, use the code REINDEERFOOD to download them FREE!
