Halloween is just around the corner and I am so excited! I love Halloween, it is the beginning of all of the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season. The weather is starting to change, and there is wonder all around. As a child, I loved the Halloween parties my mom hosted for us. As a teacher, I looked forward to celebrating all the things with my class. And, as a mom of young boys, I cherished the times we got to celebrate. Just because Halloween may look a little different this year, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t celebrate. So, over the next few weeks, I will be sharing a few fun and affordable Halloween activities that are perfect for celebrations of all sizes. And, this Free Printable Halloween Game is too cute to miss!
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Halloween Party Games
Some of the typical Halloween party games may not be all that safe right now. But, there are ways to adapt them to make them safer. I wouldn’t recommend bobbing for apples, but you can still play Halloween games!
We had a mini Fall Festival a few years ago, and the oversized tic tac toe game board with small pumpkins would be a great game. Make it a little more safe by having the kids use their own pumpkins and allow them to keep them as party favors.
We had a ring toss and candy corn bowling at our Candy Corn Carnival, and those could easily be adapted and be safe for a small party too!
Free Printable Halloween Game
My mom and sister are still teaching little ones, and trying to maintain normalcy within their classrooms. So, I thought I would help them with a fun, and safe printable Halloween game idea.
Everyone has heard of the classic game pin the tail on the donkey. It’s fun, and easy to do. But, I wanted to give it a Halloween twist. So, I created an adorable Pin the Spider on the Web printable Halloween game.
The printable is F*R*E*E in the shop, with the code PINSPIDER. It’s a large printable, 18×24″, so I sent it to my local printing shop and had it printed as an engineer print. It was less than $3 to print and it looks perfect! I thought it would be fun to let the kiddos use creepy spiders to “pin” on the web, so I grabbed some inexpensive spider decorations and added a couple of dots of ticky-tak to the spiders’ feet to make them stick. Add a tag or use a paint pen to initial each spider and the kiddos can keep them after the game is over!
