For me, Labor Day feels like a weekend at the beach with bonfires and time with friends and family. I live in Florida, and despite having beach weather nearly 11 months out of the year, Labor Day is the un-official end of the beach season. I am so excited to share Free Nautical Party Printables to use for your upcoming Labor Day celebration! The best part about these printables is they are not Labor Day specific! They are simple nautical themed printables. This set includes round cupcake toppers, pennant bunting, and fill in the blank food tents.
This cute little set is so versatile! I grabbed a few things from around my house and a 6 pack of cupcakes from the store this afternoon and set up a quick shoot so I could share the printables in action.
That little crab on the cake stand from TomKat Studios is an old Pirates of The Caribbean toy! More people have been fooled by that little toy than I can even count! He normally hangs out in my entryway with some collected shell treasures from trips to the beach. Believe it or not, the nautical reed balls are cat toys, and the knot is a dog toy from HomeGoods!
The food tents are fill in the blank, so they can be used for anything! I made the cupcake picks with a 2″ hole punch, a Xyron sticker maker, and a toothpick. Xyron graciously sent me a box of fun for a few posts last week, and I can honestly say that I haven’t every hosted a party without using my Xyron…If you don’t have one I encourage you to buy one (or 3) right away! I punched the toppers out, and ran one side through the Xyron, then I stuck a toothpick to the stickered (is that a word? I am making it one) topper, and carefully placed a not stickered topper on top! Voila, no hot glue mess, no exposed toothpicks, just nice, finished cupcake toppers!
