Raining Cats and Dogs

I recently stumbled across this lovely little party by Bella’s Bakery, and I am not gonna lie, I wish I had seen it sooner so I could have included it in the Summer issue of EPM!  I just love the idea of a Raining Cats and Dogs party for a little one!  Bella Bakery pulled it off in grand style too!

It’s Raining Cats and Dogs at Bella’s Birthday Shower!

We had such a great time planning our daughters 5th birthday. She loves animals so we knew we had a hit with this theme. 
I loved the fun centerpieces with fresh flowers and accents of lace. Accompanied with umbrellas and animal faces and of course dog bowls with yummy snacks. 
Each child got to adopt a kitten/puppy and make a one of a kind collar for them. They left with a candy kabob unique to the theme and decorated with an “umbrella”.
The dessert table was a blast to create. I hung a backdrop of the sky and umbrellas from the ceiling. I then hung cardstock dog and cat faces from the umbrellas. The table had all sorts of sweets like cloud shaped alfajores, kitty macarons and sugar cookies, and of course dog and cat cakepops!
