Inexpensive Gingerbread Party Favor DIY
We recently hosted the most adorable Gingerbread Decorating Party, but you know a party isn’t a party without a cake and favors! And since, it is the holiday season, we didn’t want to spend a whole bunch of money on the party or the favors.
I found these cute DIY snow globes at the Dollar Tree, and I knew I wanted to use them for favors for my niece. I thought about making traditional water filled snow globes with them, but…My sister and I decided it would be a lot less mess and a lot cheaper to make snow globes without water!
Make your own Gingerbread House Snow Globes
We made tiny Kraft Board Gingerbread Houses to place in the snow globes,. We decorated each one with print then cut candy stickers I made with my Cricut. Next, a scoop of SnoWonder Snow was added to the globe. Printed directions for making SnoWonder Snow were tied to each globe.
Supplies:

Step 1:
Purchase the 3D gingerbread House and upload it to Cricut Design Space. Size it to fit, and select candies from Design Space Access to decorate the tiny gingerbread houses.
Step 2:
Flatten the roof snow, door, and candies in Design Space, and send to print then cut.
Step 3:
Cut out the gingerbread houses and embellishments.
Step 4:
Assemble the gingerbread houses. The scoring should already be done, so folding and gluing them should be a breeze.
Step 5:
Decorate the small gingerbread houses.
Step 6:
Scratch the base of the snow globe a little, and add hot glue. Place the gingerbread house on the hot glue.
Step 7:
Pour the measured SnoWonder into the globe, and add the base and screw top lid.
Step 8:
Print the directions for the SnoWonder and tie to the base of the snow globes.
This project was SnOw fun, and it is the perfect, affordable party favor or even class treat.
