Polly Pocket Play Date
Polly Pocket Play Date. As a mama of four rowdy boys, I truly relish the girl time I get with my little niece. She is nearing six years old, and I SO LOVE this age. From about four to seven was my very favorite age with my guys, and it’s proving to be the same with my niece too. So, when I saw the re-release of Polly Pocket toys, available exclusively at Walmart, both online and in-store, I knew just the little girl to have come play with me!

I decided I would surprise my niece and her mom with a fun and colorful polka dot filled Polly Pocket Play Date. It was hard to tell who was more excited! I filled a table with sweet treats, polka dot confetti, and lots of darling Polly Pocket Play Sets! We pulled colors from the Polly Pocket Play Sets, and made a fun polka dot banner, darling polka dot party hats, and even polka dot cupcake toppers. I thought it would be super cute to make tiny Polly Pocket sized party hats as well! Add Polly Pocket play sets to your cart here.
Since it was just a play date, I didn’t serve a full cake, instead, I used a faux cake from Confection Deception {which was a perfect place to set up and play with Polly Pocket sets!} , and served tiny cupcakes. I also served sprinkled cookies, and chocolate popcorn.
But the real stars of the show were all of the Polly Pockets play sets! My sweet niece, sister, and I played with them for hours. My niece named each one, and loved that they were all so different. We made them skate on tiny skateboards, swim in little flamingo pool floats, walk the cutest little dogs through the park, and oh my gosh the Polly Pocket sized karaoke was everything a little girl could dream of!
My sister was wishing the whole time we played that she had her originals from when she was a kid. We joked that since these are so small she wasn’t allowed to ever get rid of them!
Girl time is so good for the soul, especially when you can spend that time making memories with your family. It’s even better if you can remember cherished times from your own childhood! My little niece has decided that we need to have a mini Polly Pocket Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas party with her new Polly Pocket play sets!
