Red White and Blueberry Shortcake. I mentioned before that the Fourth of July is all about the food for my family and me…and since I typically host the dinner for the Fourth of July, I want the food to be simple. This is recipe is another one of our family favorites, and it is so easy to make, even my kids make it!
Shopping List for Red White and Blueberry Shortcakes:
Strawberries
Blueberries
Shortcake
Whipped Cream
Sugar
Cut a slice of shortcake and top with prepared strawberries. It would be SUPER cute to cut the shortcake into a star shape with a cookie cutter too! Squirt whipped cream on top, and sprinkle with blueberries.
This is seriously one of the easiest desserts ever, and is always a crowd pleaser!
Red White and Blueberry Shortcake
Ingredients
- 1 Pint Strawberries
- 1/2 Pint Blueberries
- 1 Can Reddi-Whip
- 3 TBS Sugar
- 1 Loaf Pound Cake
Instructions

Wash and slice strawberries.
Sprinkle sugar on top and refrigerate overnight
Slice (optionally cut) Pound Cake
Top with prepared strawberries, whipped cream, and blueberries
