Simple 3D Star Decoration
Simple 3D Star Decoration. I am cutting it down to the wire with my Fourth of July decorating, I think part of the reason is that I know we won’t actually be home on the Fourth of July to celebrate, so I don’t feel as much pressure…but, since my birthday is just a few days before July 4th, we will host the family for dinner, and I want to have some patriotic decor up.
I am all about manipulating Cricut Design Space images to create a 3D project right now, so of course I was drawn to making cute little 3D Stars!
Supplies to make your own Simple 3D Star Decorations:
Vinyl or Paint
Begin by deciding what size you want your stars to be. I wanted to make a bunch, so they are fairly small. Size the cut file to fit your vision. Generally, I would cover the chipboard with vinyl before I cut it, but I wasn’t sure what direction I was going with these cuties when I started. It was super easy to cover them after they were cut too, though! {Don’t forget to move your Star Wheels to the side, and tape the chipboard to your strong grip mat before you cut out the stars}
Once your stars are cut, paint them, cover them in vinyl, or even coordinating scrap book paper!
These would be super cute with Cricut’s iridescent vinyl for a unicorn party too!
