Eggo Churro Recipe. Y’all, I am going to be real here for a minute…my kids are eating.everything.in.my.house. this summer. You know those cartoons where the kids open their mouths and it’s like a vacuum that sucks in everything that isn’t nailed down? Yeah, it’s my life. We have gone through approximately 9, 562, 312 boxes of Eggo® Waffles and Eggo® Choco-Toast™ Chocolatey Chip and Eggo® Cinna-Toast™ Cinnamon Roll toasts…I am not even joking…So, on a recent weekly daily trip to the neighborhood Walmart, I grabbed a few extra boxes of their favorite Eggo Cinna-Toast Cinnamon Roll and Eggo Choco-Toast Chocolatey Chip toasts. Eggo Waffles and Toasts are a staple in our house and have been for years, but I love that they are now made without artificial colors and flavors. The kids love to have them for breakfast, lunch, and snack…and I love how they can easily and quickly feed themselves. Oh, and to help me out with the massive grocery bills this summer, there is a cool deal on Ibotta right now for Eggo Cinna-Toast Cinnamon Roll and Eggo Choco-Toast toasts! Yay for saving money, amIright? Grab that deal here. Earn $1 when you purchase ONE Eggo® Choco-Toast™ Chocolatey Chip or Eggo® Cinna-Toast™ Cinnamon Roll toast at Walmart!
One afternoon when the vacuums sweet boys were starving, I thought I would whip up a family favorite with a twist, Eggo Cinna-Toast Cinnamon Roll CHURROS!!! Yasss! We love Eggo Cinna-Toast Cinnamon Roll toast and Churros…
I feel like I should warn you, these are CRAZY good and will be gone as fast as you can make them…I made two full boxes for my crew plus a few extra kids at the house…and I had to try them too 😉The kids have made them again for themselves (with my supervision, because hot oil) a couple of times since I made them.
Slice Eggo Cinna-Toast and/or Eggo Choco-Toast into slices.Whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla and milk together.
Coat Eggo Cinna-Toast slices with sugar mixture, and fry for about 1 minute each side. Once cool, dust with powdered sugar and cinnamon, or eat them as is!
