Make a Splash Pool Party.  Since we renovated our back yard this Spring, we have spent most of our waking hours on our back deck or in the pool.  We love our outdoor space, and we love entertaining in that space.  And as fun as it is to host a BBQ or a cookout every week for our friends and family, it can get expensive.  One way we like to host our friends on a smaller budget is to have parties during non-food times.  We have hosted a lot of drink bar, popsicle, and ice cream parties this summer, and they have been so fun! But, so far, our very favorite drink bar party was our Torani Syrups drink bar, and it was so simple to do!

I was wandering my local Walmart looking for new bathing suits for my boys, and grabbing a few groceries for them too…they can eat y’all.  And, I saw it…Torani Raspberry Syrup!  And Torani Passion Fruit Syrup, and Torani Peach Syrup.  You guys, flavored drinks are my favorite! Especially light summer flavors.  I quickly threw 2 bottles of each in my cart, and a box of iced tea bags.  Because the syrups are next to the tea, I instantly thought, oh yeah, peach tea, with fresh peaches! (You can grab other yummy Torani flavors for your coffee on the coffee aisle too).  I also love that Torani is a family owned business, and is made with real ingredients!We invited a few friends over after dinner this week, and set up a fun drink bar on the back deck with lots of drinks, fresh fruit slices, and Torani syrups!  It was a ton of fun, and everyone loved being their own mixologist.  We wanted to keep the costs down, so we offered lemonade, iced tea, lemon lime soda, club soda, and gin to drink.  I grabbed a few lemons, oranges, limes, blueberries, and peaches along with my Torani Peach, Passion Fruit, and Raspberry syrups, and we were ready for guests!

The family and I did some taste testing before the party to create some signature drinks, and picked our three favorite drinks.  One with alcohol for the adults, and two without for all the guests.  One of my friends came over and helped me write out the recipes on our chalkboard big enough for the whole party to read.  (I super hate writing on chalkboards, so she totally saved the day!)
