Penguin Party Games.  Yesterday, I shared the printables for our after school Penguin Party.  Today, I am back with more from our fun Penguin Party, the games! My guy is halfway through the 4th grade, so our games needed to be geared for bigger kids, but still something the littler friends could do.

 The centerpiece of our table was a Penguin Sledding game I got from Oriental Trading Company.  (Did you know Oriental Trading Company has a coupon page?) It’s like Penguin Plinko, and all the kids love it.  I ordered it before Christmas for our holiday open house, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality.

 

After the kids had a few snacks, we had an ice race and a Goldfish Cracker Toss.  I have about a dozen small red buckets from Pottery Barn Kids that I use for everything, so I grabbed a few of them for our Penguin Party games. 

The ice race was so fun for the kiddos.  They had to use ice tongs to carry ice from a Tervis ice bucket and fill the small red buckets.  It seems easy, but it’s a lot harder than it looks.  

 

 

 

The Goldfish were a great snack and game piece.  I used more red buckets and set them up on bar stools several feet from the snack table.  The kids tossed Goldfish into the buckets to feed the penguins (or the dog, as he happily snacked on all the Goldfish that didn’t land in the buckets) 

 

 

These games were tons of fun for the kids, and cost very little to put together.  They are perfect for any winter party or Penguin Party.
