S’Mores Station and Recipe. I know, I know…s’mores recipes, graham crackers, marshmallow, and chocolate…but no, just no. Trust me there is so much more to be done with a s’more! And, it is so simple to set up a s’mores station.
I was recently sent an Electro-Light Fire Starter from HomeRight. And, I cannot tell you how awesome it is! It is SO EASY to start a fire. And since I had a fire in the fire pit, I thought I would make s’mores. But, not just *any* s’mores. I gathered up all the supplies in an old Coca Cola crate, and carried it out to our fire pit seating area in the front yard. Keeping the supplies and ingredients in one place makes assembly a cinch! The crate held two metal buckets, and four berry boxes perfectly. One bucket was lined with parchment paper and filled with Jet Puffed Marshmallows, the other was lined with a kitchen towel (for easy cleanup in case any candies melted) and filled with candies. The berry baskets were filled with cookies, traditional graham crackers, and Pop Tarts. I use an old ladder for a side table in the front seating area, so I placed the Coca Cola crate on the top step of the ladder, and a bucket with napkins and wooden skewers on the step below it. I also added a bucket of Coca Cola and ice, and our small portable speaker for music. It was a perfect afternoon and evening full of fun, yummy treats, and a warm fire with great friends!
Ingredients:
Oreo Thins – I used the regular and the golden ones
Brown Sugar Pop Tars cut in half
Jet Puffed Marshmallows
Milky Way Candies
Three Musketeers Candies
Begin by roasting your marshmallows over the fire and assemble using the Oreos or Pop Tarts as the base, and your choice of chocolate candies inside.
Enjoy an amazing twist on a traditional summer treat with a cold Coca Cola and friends for a perfect summer evening!
