It’s officially football season! College football kicked off last weekend, and the NFL is ready to start their season. Which means, it’s time for tailgates, touchdowns, and all of the fun football food. But, if you are hosting friends and family for a tailgate or football party at home, you should check out this fun, free printable football party activity!

Shhh, I am going to tell you a secret. I just went to my first NFL football game last season. And, I have never been to a college football game…I know, it’s crazy. But, after going to watch our hometown team in my favorite city last season, I want to go to all of the games now!

But, I have had loads of football parties and at home tailgates. This Free Printable Football Banner is perfect for any football party! And, this post is full of fun Football Party Supplies and ideas for hosts and hostesses.

Printable Football Party Activity

I designed this printable to be used as a fun party activity. But, it would also be a great party table backdrop. And, then, after the party, it would be a fun decoration for a football themed room.

I had this printed at one of the warehouse stores I am a member of. It was about $11 shipped, and I received it in a week. Since it is really colorful, it can’t be printed as an engineer print, and the warehouse store was the most cost effective option for printing. However, you will need to print the footballs on a sheet of cardstock paper and cut them out separately.

We used ticky tack to hang the goal post image on the wall, and then a little more ticky tack on the back of the footballs. This fun game is just a football twist on the classic pin the tail on the donkey games we played at parties as kids. However, if you want to protect the image from damage, you could put it in a plastic poster frame too.
