Little Monsters Halloween Party
Little Monsters Halloween Party with Harry and David. Earlier this week, I discovered the Harry and David blog, full of recipes, tips, and even some free holiday printables! As soon as I saw these fun Little Monsters, I KNEW I needed to squeeze in one more Halloween party!
I love Harry And David’s products, and their Moose Munch is my favorite. (Followed very closely by their pears) Because of time, I needed to keep the party small, and only invited a couple of our close friends over for a few hours to play and snack. The kids snacked on mini cupcakes and cookies from Target, and popcorn. I used the Little Monsters printable flags and paper punched them to create 2.25″ rounds. I used the rounds to embellish the popcorn boxes, mini cupcakes, paper straws, and even the bags of Moose Munch for the parents. The little flags can be used to make an adorable bunting, but I needed rounds, and they were perfect! If I had had more time, I would have ordered cookies to match the printables. They even have cupcakes!
I used Harry and David’s printable Happy Halloween banner, printed at 30% size to decorate a small burlap wreath. I hung the wreath above our snack table. I simply glued the letter flags to polka dot ribbon I picked up at Michael’s last year on clearance. The little bunting looked perfect on the wreath!
To keep the kids occupied, I set up an activity table with coloring sheets and pool noodles pieces. The kids used vinyl (I always have a small stash of Expressions Vinyl on hand) I pre-cut using my Cricut to make small Frankensteins like the one on the cake plate. The kids loved their Noodle Franks!
The kiddos took home small cauldrons filled with candy and treats (and some candy from our candy bucket) and the parents took home some Moose Munch. We all had a fantastic afternoon crafting and socializing!
