Key Lime Frozen Cream Pie Recipe

Key Lime Frozen Cream Pie…refreshing key limes, a little tart with the sweetness of cream…mmm!  Pamela Smerker Designs is sharing her take on a Florida favorite, and I knew I needed to share it too!

I am a big fan of Key Lime Pie and it isn’t very often that I get my hands on a slice since I am the only one in the family who likes it. Normally to get my fix, I buy one of those frozen single slices of pie in the frozen food isle and to be honest they aren’t the best. I decided this summer I would make my own version that could be frozen. Not only would it keep a little longer, but it would also be extra cool and refreshing.  So I used the “base”‘ from my Chocolate Peppermint Chip Ice Cream recipe, grabbed some limes and my new bottle of Lime Essential oil and got to work.
