Milk Carton Invitation
My boys have been really into baking lately and my youngest has been begging for a play date. So I decided to combine the two and have a baking play date for my youngest. A super easy thing for the kiddos to make is cookies, so the milk and cookies party it is. And wouldn’t you know I have the perfect diecut for the invitation!! I am going to use my milk carton diecut to create A milk carton to handout with all the details for the play date.
To you create your invitation you are going to need the sizzix milk carton diecut, patterned tag board, some twine, washy tape, double stick tape, a stamp pad, chipboard letters and a sharpie.
First, to create your sizzix sandwich you will need the magnetic platform, a cutting pad, a piece of tag, your diecut, and another cutting pad on top. Then run it through your bigshot and you’re ready to fold and put it together.
To assemble your milk carton first you want to fold your creases. Now you need to put a piece of double stick tape on two of the bottom flaps and the side flaps like in the picture.
Now you’re ready fold and tape it together. I added a piece of washy tape across the top for a little extra embellishment and some twine wrapped around the carton to tie on my party information.
To make the little cookie to hang on the front with the play date information I punched a 2 inch circle and then I wrote with my sharpie the play date details. I inked around the edge of the white circle and I added a chipboard initial for each guest to the cookie. Finally I punched a hole and the top of the cookie and the bottom of the play date info.
Then I attach them to the milk carton. I punched a hole in the bottom of the play date info so that it could swing up and you could read the information without taking apart the invite.
That’s it! Now you have your super cute invitations all ready to hand out. I can’t wait to share the rest of the party details with you!
