Free Printable Magic Santa Key
When our older two boys were younger, we lived in an old house without a fireplace. My oldest was VERY worried about how Santa could possibly get into the house to drop off his presents and suggested that we send our house key to the North Pole. We tried to explain that Santa had a key, but it was no use, he would just not hear it! My Aunt heard him fussing about it and picked up a Magic Santa Key from a specialty store. It is beautiful, but it was also very expensive…After seeing a friend’s recent post about her son having the same worries, I decided to make a free printable Magic Santa Key tag. I left room for your child to sign his or her name at the bottom too.
For this post, I used a standard key from the hardware store that doesn’t work for any of our doors anymore. I accidentally printed the card on standard printer paper too, so I glued it to card stock, and wrapped baker’s twine around the top to hold the key. However, I have seen plenty of Santa Keys made with skeleton keys. Those are about $2 for a two pack from the hardware store and can be glittered or painted to fit your style. Gorgeous bows always look amazing too!
Merry Christmas to you and your families!
