Simple Holiday Coffee Cup Sleeve
My boys LOVE hot cocoa. In fact, they could easily drink it every day, but what they don’t love is the hot cups. And, I don’t like going to expensive coffee shops every week for hot cocoa so they can have a cup sleeve.
After a quick look through Cricut Design Space, I was ready to make my own hot cup sleeves for the boys. However, I couldn’t just give them a plain old boring cup sleeve, right?
Make your own custom coffee sleeves
You can easily make your very own custom cocoa cup sleeves in minutes with just a few supplies! I even used some cute Holiday stamps from Waffle Flower. This project is so easy, you could let the kids do all the work!
Supplies
Waffle Flower Stamps and Stamp Pad
Cricut or Template
If you are using a Cricut to make these, open this cut file and cut out as many as you will need.
Remove the Corrugated Paper sleeves and Kraft Paper circles from the cutting mat.
Apply adhesive to the tail of the sleeve {It has a small notch in the corner} and wrap around a cup, overlapping the sleeve onto the adhesive. This will ensure that the sleeve is the correct size for the cup.
Next, pull out the Lawn Fawn stamps and stamp pad, and decorate the Kraft Paper circle.
You can add adhesive to the back with the Mega Runner or run each circle through the Xyron Creative Station. Place the sticker on the sleeve and enjoy hot cocoa without burning your hands!
