Valentine’s Day Cards

Valentine’s Day Cards

I was recently sent a big box of candy from one of my favorite candy suppliers, SweetWorks.  Let me just say this, there isn’t much better than getting a big ‘ole box of candy in the mail.  SweetWorks candy is awesome, it’s made in a nut free facility, and is very open about all the possible allergens.  This is good for me, we don’t suffer from food allergies at our house, but each of my sons have a classmate that does.  My boys will all be bringing SweetWorks candy Valentine’s Day Cards and treats for their classmates!

In a house of all boys, you can bet we have watched Star Wars a time {read million} or two. As soon as I saw this little card, I KNEW exactly how I was going to use some of my Sixlets!

Valentine's Day Card

I mean, seriously, how cute is this?!!

Supplies:

Sixlets

Tubes from Michaels (glitter tubes) or Amazon

Red and white (or other color) card stock paper

Yoda Only One For Me printable (via Etsy)

Printable lightsaber handle

Scissors

Glue or double sided tape

Print your card on card stock.  I adjusted the print size to allow me to print 2 cards on each sheet of paper.  Cut the Yoda card on the lines, and then cut the red (or other color) paper slightly larger than the Yoda card.  Glue the Yoda card to the colored paper.

Fill your clear tubes with Sixlets.  The smaller tube is from Michael’s the larger ones are from Amazon.Valentine's Day Card

Print and cut Lightsaber handles.  I printed 6 per page.  (I printed them on a cream colored card stock so that you could see it better in the photos) Glue or tape them to the bottom of the (now candy filled) tubes.

Finally, glue or double side tape your Lightsaber to the card.  My kids LOVE these and are super excited to be able to pass them out.  Also, I KNOW Yoda has a green Lightsaber, but, my kids ate our green Sixlets before I was able to make this…and red is more Valentine friendly.

I will be sharing another SweetWorks Valentine’s Day DIY next week too!

This review is based strictly on my opinion.  Others may have a different opinion or experience with the product listed above.  I was provided the sample free of charge by the company or PR agency and I proved my honest opinion.  No other type of compensation was received for this review.
