Color Me Happy Card. I am so excited to be sharing my first post as a Xyron Blogger! We were all asked to use our Xyron tools and create a card fit for any celebration. As it happened, my sister asked me to help her make a card to hold a gift card for my nephew to give as a gift, so I made this cute little crayon card.
Supplies:
Cricut Access – Crayon Box Cascade Card
Colored Paper (13 colors)
Gift Card
Someone you want to make smile 🙂Open Design Space and cut each piece. Follow the instructions for the Cricut Crazy Cute Cards Cartridge, Crayon Box Cascade Card. I used the Creative Station to make the crayon box pieces into stickers. Before I created the stickers, I assembled the card, then, I ran each piece through the Xyron Creative Station facing up.
Once each piece was a sticker, I re-assembled the card. I began by assembling the label for the front of the card, it was literally as simple as layering stickers! Next, I layered the crayons and the crayon wrappers. Finally, I used the Xyron Mega Runner and the Xyron Tape Runner to attach the crayon portions to the yellow box section of the card.
I used the Xyron Tape Runner to attach the gift coin to the inside of the card, and to assemble the envelope.
This cute little card took more time to cut out than it did to assemble.
How cute would this be for a teacher gift? A party invitation? Or even a favor tag or thank you card?
