Simple Apple Gift Bag DIY. I am in the middle of about 9 million projects and my to do list is SCARY y’all…but, my biggest boy started his third year of art high school, and is so lucky to have had the same core teachers throughout his time in high school. Since these teachers are specialized teachers, we like to give them a gift card to buy what they want or need for themselves or the class. But, a gift card in an envelope is boring! I made this adorable Laura Kelly Designs apple gift bag in just a few minutes, added a gift card and some candies and it’s ready to go.
Supplies:
Laura Kelly Designs Sizzix Bigz Die – Apple #2
Kunin Group Felt
Hot Glue Gun and Glue
Gift Card/Treats (I used Cow Tails Caramel Apple Candies and Chocolate Creams)
Cut out two felt apples using the Sizzix Sandwich method. {Cutting plate, die, felt, cutting plate} Match the apples on top of each other. Add a thin line of hot glue to the edge of one apple, and stick second apple on top. Leave an opening at the top to create a “pocket” or gift bag.
Fill with treats and make any teacher happy!
