Simple Tomatillo Salsa Recipe


  • 5-6 Tomatillos
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 2-3 JalapeƱos
  • 2-3 Spicy Red Peppers
  • 2 TBS Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Lime Juiced


  1. Slice peppers in half and remove seeds.

  2. Slice onions in half.

  3. Slice tomatillos in quarters.

  4. Place peppers, onions, and tomatillos onto a baking tray and coat with olive oil.

  5. Bake in the oven at 350* for 10-15 minutes.

  6. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

  7. Place roasted peppers, onions, and tomatillo, and minced garlic and lime juice into a blender and pulse blend for about 45 seconds.

  8. Serve on tacos or with fresh chips!
