Scare Away the Germs Printable Tag and DIY
Scare Away the Germs Printable Tag and DIY. One of the things my youngest son’s school consistently asks for is soap. I could probably buy a bottle a week and they would still ask for soap. So, when I see a good deal on it, I pick up a few bottles and send them in with the kid. But, since I am really limited on my “little kid” time left, I am trying to grasp onto it whenever I have a chance. I mean, my little one is almost 10, so, I am truly running out of little kid time.
Supplies:
Halloween Rings
Clear Liquid Soap (Buy the SoftSoap brand for a little more, the labels are so much easier to remove and the bottle opening is a little bigger, so it’s easier to stick bats and spiders in the bottle)
Silicone Spray (to remove the label residue)
Scissors or PenBlade
Ribbon

First, remove the label. Once the label is removed, you will probably have some sticky residue, spray the silicone on the bottle and rub it with a paper towel or rag. Wash the residue off with warm soapy water.
Cut the ring part off of the rings, leaving only the bats or spiders. Stick them into the soap bottle. You can use the pump straw to move the bats and spiders into place, or a chopstick…whatever you have laying around. Put the lid back on the soap, and rinse off any soap spills, and dry the bottle and lid off well.
Print your tags, and cut them out. Tie festive ribbon around the bottle lid, and attach the tag. Your teacher will thank you, and hopefully your little ones come home with less germs!
I made this bottle for my niece and nephew. My little guy’s teacher has had hers in the classroom for a week or so already.
