Summer officially begins for my high schoolers tomorrow and I am not sure who is more excited about that, me or them. And, as our tradition dictates, we celebrate the last day of school by blasting School’s Out by Alice Cooper and getting Slurpees from 7-11. But, since we have a kid that drives himself to and from school, I thought I would set up a little Slurpee table and add a printable summer banner to it.

Summer time is a really big deal in our family. We forget all routines, we don’t do a lot of sports activities, we try to limit how much the older boys work, and we make sure the kids are kids with very few real responsibilities. We celebrate small things and big things, and there is always something fun happening on the weekends.

So, I have quite a few Summer printables and party ideas on the blog. But, these are a few of my favorites.

I mentioned I was going to set up a little table with Slurpees on it for the boys to enjoy when they got home from school. I am seriously toying with buying this ICEE Slushie Maker from Amazon though.
