Football Kick Off Party
Football Kick Off Party. I have shared sneak peeks of our College Football Kick Off party all week, and I am excited to share the full party today!
In case you missed it, Monday, I shared our Yard Yahtzee game that is perfect for half time fun; Tuesday, I shared how I made those fun football and jersey cookies; Wednesday, I shared ideas for low budget decorating; Thursday, I shared our free printables.
I have mentioned how much all of my guys love their Georgia Bulldogs, and while we would love to actually be at a game in person, that is just not in the cards for us right now. So, we celebrated at home.
I served burgers, popcorn, and fruit in cute little Kraft boxes from Nashville Wraps. It helped keep the messes to a minimum while the guys ate, watched, and cheered. We gave the kids Coca Cola in little glass bottles, and I made football cookies and cupcakes for dessert. The football cookies were place on beds of frosting grass on large round cookie, and the cupcakes had grass frosting as well. I had so much fun making these! The frosting tip was less than a dollar at Michael’s with a coupon. It was crazy easy to make them!
The table was set up next to the TV, and was very simple. I used a black sheet backdrop and added fun bunting I had left over from our last Bulldog party. I also hung up our yard flag. The table was covered with an inexpensive red sheet. I used items we have at our house to decorate, except the one subway art project I made with my Cricut.
We had a great time celebrating College Football and our Bulldogs season opening win!
