Patriotic Hostess Gift Idea. If I’m not hosting a party, I LOVE attending a party. Seriously, I just truly enjoy celebrating all the things. We are heading to a small Fourth of July party this coming weekend before the holiday, and I cannot go to a party empty handed! Luckily, I know the hostess very well, and I made a cute little gift for her and her sweet family.
To make your own Patriotic Hostess Gift, you will need:
Newton’s Nook Tranquil Tides Stamp Set
Lobster/Craw Dad Cups {I ordered the plastic ones that can be reused…I LOVE these cups}
6 Pack of Coca-Cola glass bottles, minus one bottle
Optional, a bottle of rum
Begin this project by cutting 6 scalloped edged, and six standard circles. I used my Cricut to cut them for me, and cut them at the same time by moving the images to the top and bottom of the cutting mat and adding the correct paper color on the top and bottom. Once your paper is cut, stamp the Kraft Paper with Newton’s Nook Tranquil Tides Stamps, and run through the Xyron Sticker Maker. Next, carefully line up the small holes at the top of each circle, and place the Kraft Paper sticker on top of the red scalloped circle.
Now you are ready to decorate your Coca-Cola bottles! Tie a small piece of ribbon to the bottle necks, and add the tags, secure with a simple knot. Gather straws and tie another piece of ribbon around them. I added a cute ribbon bow to the lobster bottle opener and the bag of cups as well. Finally, place 5 bottles of Coca-Cola back into the carrier, and fill the missing space with the straws, flag, and bottle opener.
That’s it! I absolutely love this darling little hostess gift, and I cannot wait to give it to my friend!
