I am lucky enough to live in a very LGBTQ+ friendly part of Florida. In fact, one of the local cities hosts the largest PRIDE celebration in Florida each year. And, while I have always been an ally, it is so much more important to me to be vocal about it now. So, I decided to host a colorful Pride Parade Party.

PRIDE Printables and Cut Files
Over the years, I have shared several free PRIDE printables. Last year I shared this Free Pride Sublimation Image. It is perfect for coffee mugs, ball caps, shirts, and more. And, these Love is Love Printable Tags are perfect cupcake toppers, favor bag tags, and they would even be awesome DIY stickers!
But, I think my favorite PRIDE post is the Pride Month Shirts I created for the whole PROUD family to wear.
Pride Parade Party
This colorful party was so much fun to put together. We just hosted the party in the back yard, and used my DIY Folding Lemonade Stand as the party table. My son and I used inexpensive plastic table cloths to create a simple, but bold backdrop. We layered them in red, orange, yellow, green, blue order, and then tied them about two feet from the end on each side. Then, we hung the backdrop on the fence for a bold pop of color. We added some fun colorful feathered wings to the middle too.
I layered a foil banner on the front of the lemonade stand, with a love is love banner over it.
Then it was time to add some color to the top of the table. Colorful drinks were wrapped with white paper, and embellished with rainbow stickers. On the other side of the drinks, I filled a bowl with rainbow candies and PRIDE flags.
You can’t have a party without cake, so I ordered a PRIDE cake from the local warehouse store and set it in the middle of the party table.
Finally, I added beaded necklaces, ally pins, face stickers, face paint, hats, headbands, and anything else you would need to be fabulous for the PRIDE parade.
