Mother’s Day Gift with Sizzix. My mom and mother in law love to get photos of their grandkids, especially if they come already framed…bonus points for cute frames. I was able to make this frame for $0.50 total, but I already had the frame at home. So, add the cost of a cheap frame, and you still have an inexpensive gift.

Supplies:

Sizzix Big Shot and cutting pads

Sizzix Flower Die (On sale right now)

Felt (two colors or more)

Small buttons

Glue gun

Frame

Printable or photo

Needle and thread (optional)

Begin by making your sizzix sandwich with the felt. (Cutting pad, die, felt, top cutting pad) Cut LOTS of flowers.

Layer the felt as you choose, I alternated colors, and add a button to the middle. You can sew them or hot glue. I did both, but it was easier for me to hot glue them.

Once you have several flowers made, you can lay them on your frame and decide how you would like them to look. When you are happy with the look, hot glue them to the frame.
