Back to School Party. All week I have been able to share some fabulous back to school printables, products, activities, and even parties. It has been so great to share them all, and build up anticipation for the new school year! We have one more week of summer before we get back into the schedule and routines of school.
To get ourselves and our friends ready for school, we invited a few friends over to celebrate. We enjoyed a few snacks and some juice. I wanted to make it super simple, so I just served store bought cupcakes in cute little cupcake liners from Hoopla Events. I added a fun letter or number cookie from Trader Joe’s on some, and funny little pencils we got from a gum ball machine. I served lemonade in reusable plastic bottles, also from Hoopla Events. Hoopla Events is a fantastic resource for trendy and fun party supplies! I wrapped the bottles with pencil bulletin board decorations I found at the Dollar Tree, and added some yellow paper straws. I have really been pushing my kids to drink more water, and the fun pencil water bottle labels from BellaGrey Designs were a bit hit with the kids! Jennifer was able to run with just a little bit of guidance and create the most perfect printable set for my party!
I set up our snacks on our sawhorse leg desk, and draped it in a gingham yellow fabric. I used a printable pencil banner from BellaGrey on an old window my mom gave me as the centerpiece. It was simple, but cute!
We gathered our school supplies and decorated them with my Cricut. The kids had a fantastic time picking out what they wanted on their folders and even applying the vinyl!
We also gathered a few extra classroom supplies and put them in cute custom bags I ordered from Zazzle for the kids’ teachers. I also ordered some matching note pads with the teachers’ names on them to put in the bag. Zazzle has an enormous selection of Back to School accessories, and I loved being able to customize the bags and note pads for each teacher. Every year we make a caramel dip for the teachers’ apples, so we made that at the party too! The kids had so much fun gathering extra supplies and making their teachers a special treat.
I couldn’t have a party without giving our guests at least a small favor. I gathered up some pencils and put them in favor tubes from Hoopla Events (and the kids helped vinyl them during the party, they plan on keeping them as pencil cases for their backpacks), some colorful pencil-top erasers and put them in gum ball machine capsules, and some little candies wrapped in fun pencil printables from BellaGrey Designs.
We all had a great time getting ready for our first day back to school!
Many thanks to all of my fabulous vendors for helping out with our Back to School Party!
